lol wat? How do you get that I don't take the responsibility seriously? What I don't take on faith is other people's trustworthiness. That's just good business sense. I've heard way too many stories of people getting ripped off to stick my neck out on anonymous financial transactions without a great reason. Somehow, I've managed to send second and hold money for third parties just fine.

I kind of get what ike is talking about. There was a player who i'd always make 10-15k transfers with that I actually didn't talk to like...at all besides when one of us needed money swapped and he would always send first.

It was a weird feeling for me at first, getting 1/2 of the avg americans yearly salary transfered to me without me having to send a penny first. After a few transfers that weird feeling wore off though, and I can honestly say the thought of scamming someone even for 1 second has never entered my mind.

ClarkNasty: Hey girl I just met tonight for the first time at some random bar, do you wanna come back to my place?

Girl: Umm ok

ClarkNasty: Actually can I see some ID first before I bang you, thanks.

Actually, not far. When I was young enough that the possibility of hitting someone younger than 18 existed (it was 18 in Illinois), people were legit paranoid about it, and it was incredibly easy to make fake IDs back then. I actually can remember at least twice there were girls we were talking to where we asked to see their IDs. Seems better than going to jail no?

not questioning if this is true; just sounds really funny. I would love to see this conversation play out.

if they are in a bar drinking then its pretty obvious that the guys intention is not to get underage tail. thats why the law is stupid, its supposed to protect really young girls from getting intimated by older predators into claiming it was consensual not guys who legitimately believed a girl was of age. strict liability is basically always a terrible idea

this

the burden in that instance should be entirely on the owners of the bar

ITT people argue that guys should have no personal responsibility for breaking the law and having sex with children.

well if you're in a bar where legally you cannot be if you're underaged then what possible way would you be able to verify whether a person is of age if the bar itself already verified that by allowing them in?

intent matters. someone having sex with a person they have every reason to believe is over 20 is not in the same universe as a guy who tries to lure middle school girls in chat rooms

LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL wtf is wrong with you people. Yes," it wasn't my intent to **** a child so that makes it ok". GTFO. The onus is on the adult to not do so. Let's always blame others.

so you meet someone at the bar. you check their ID. then you **** her. you find out after the fact the ID was fake when you're arrested.

you ok with prison?

See, here's how this works: the bar owner is in trouble for letting an underage person drink. You are in trouble for sexing a child.

More than a little disturbing at trying to find excuses why you don't need to take responsibility for your own despicable actions. And let's be honest, none of you are acting like even asking for ID is reasonable, which is just LOLOLLLLLLLL.

so you think a person who has sex with someone that he has every reason to believe is of age is some big threat to society that needs to be locked up? you act like he went to a my little pony show and invited girls back to his van for free candy
