YES!

The Food Network is the best channel to watch (next to sports related ones, ldo). It's just a really well built network with great shows and likable personalities (with a few exceptions, of course).

I can't stand that lisping muther****er Jamie Oliver, for example, and any show about desert/cupcakes should gtfo.

Chopped. Eat Street. The Next Iron Chef. Iron Chef. DDD, of course. The Best Thing I Ever Ate. Giada. All awesome.

Good Eats is by far the GOAT food show.

The cupcake show is the worst. Not only is virtually every contestant the exact same vapid, boring chick, cupcakes have virtually no variance in visual appearance, which is sort of important for a televised cooking show. What a worthless show

fwiw, I learned how to make the perfect scrambled eggs from Chef Ramsay via YouTube, via Jimmy Kimmels suggestion. (I use sour cream instead of creme fresh...I don't even know what creme fresh is).

i honestly don't know. the last one I watched he was in the Smokey Mountains and he had to cook outside and catch fresh trout from a stream and it was POURING. he failed the mission by 5 miles. it was hilarious.

long story short i have no idea.

fwiw, I make my eggs a little more well done than the ones made in the YouTube video. and fwiw#2, probably the one and only thing I've ever tried to learn off of YouTube. (possibility for some more education sessions in the future, who knows....)

Well, to summarize, Randy starts watching Food Network and becomes obsessed with cooking and puts creme fraiche in everything. The episode is titled "Creme Fraiche".

I watched that video and was pleased to discover I actually do some similar stuff to Ramsay when I make my scrambled eggs. Definitely gonna try his method soon, probably this weekend.

just going through the spreadsheet for the video game thread;

I've never understood the Zelda love.

If I had the last pick, I would've taken NBA Jam and NFL Blitz back to back. Followed by Mario Kart and Contra. (MegaTeam! imo)

Mike Tyson's punch out and Blades of Steel went to late.

How has Killer Instinct not gone yet?

i get it... if you put it that way. i just never found any enjoyment in the zelda series, but understand it was a huge hit and had a massive following.

and yes, nba jam and nfl blitz (especially) were goatish games in arcade mode and translated well to consoles when playing in big groups and doing tourney style competitions. (thats what we used to do alot of).

goldeneye, contra and megman were also goatish, but don't hold up that well today, ldo.

super mario 3 on the otherhand, does hold up very well, and imo, is well deserving of the number one overall pick.
