I started doing that a long time ago actually, it makes it easier for people to find threads for sports they're interested in. If someone didn't put an icon I'd sometimes edit one in. Think the others do as well.

If people would stop putting the year first in thread titles that would help also. Always start titles with the sport name/acronym. Otherwise the whole front page would have 20 threads starting with 2011/2012 or 2012

i'm not surprised about that question - hare krishnas were thrown out of airports years ago and i can't remember ever seeing one IRL - but i think my favorite part of questions like that is where the person is proud to have been ignorant.
