Noted. I sold CoD3 after having buyer's remorse and still haven't opened BF3 so I'll just wait a year or whatever until that price drops.

Lots of leveling up, plus the satisfaction of delivering a death blow to these cockjousting draugrs. There is clearly reward in defeating harder enemies. Better than walking around the woods in circles and killing random wolves with a single blow.

Plus dungeon isn't the right word for Forelhost, it's more like a series of underground rooms where unfriendly skeletons with swords and arrows congregate.

ok, but if someone called phb a "cracker" would they get banned? I am not doing this so please dont ban me. Also, I never ever use the N word (and its pretty much the only word that I universally avoid in the English language) nor am I fighting for it to be allowed, but it seemed like a failed attempt at humor rather than racism. Different parallel, if tarheels (only using him bc I dont know most posters' races) used it would it be more tolerable? It seems like it is in society based on my observations throughout the years, but wondering about forum rules.

Mods, could you chime in?

Mmo's don't resemble usual multiplayer at all. In starcraft or NBA2k pr Quake you start on level playing field and the better (luckier?) player wins. In mmo's the power comes directly from the hours you wasted, not the skill you got while wasting them. And since all the fun's in PKing and stripping people off their stuff, you gotta be a nolife OR be a boring, monster-killing grinder who'll never make it.
