They are similar in this regard: Any 2p2 forum but SE, and they would've both been perma'd a long long time ago without much fanfare based on their posting.

You can't even really say that because one of them was perma'd from SE. Y'all just let him come back a few weeks later.

And the other one got eight temp-bans-- could have been more if the "no personal attacks" rule was actually enforced-- before finally getting the boot for good.

i just dont see epi as much different than phb. both often spout off with incorrect positions in an over the top manner. sure, epi is a bit moar bombastic, but its not that much. both derail threads about the same extent with their idiocy.

it seems that yall think epi is smarter than he really is, so his ******ed positions are intentionally constructed to get the forum mad. yall dont give phb nearly as much credit.

We're lenient. It's worked reasonably well for the forum. If we're not the best modded forum (esp adjusting for difficulty to mod), we're dang close.

Just a point of fact that as posters they have in fact been bad enough to get perma'd from here, let alone any other 2p2 forum.

I think you guys generally do a fine job of modding and leniency is good, but this was overdue.

It's just absurd. The supposed argument is "he's trolling too much so we banned him" and people are actually trying to defend him with the argument of "No he actually is so ******ed that he believes that [Boston had more rain 15 years ago despite the evidence proving the opposite], [educational system is better in Boston despite all the colleges having high out-of-state acceptance rates], [the world is flat], [he has arguments about which flavors of store-bought fruit pies are better]."

In what world do you defend someone by calling them mentally ******ed? The best part is that he probably loves this angle of defense.

Yeah, again, Jetto just seems like a silly dude. Epipen was pretty argumentative. Jetto sometimes talks about how Oswalt is done and Pettitte should replace him, and I'm sure he does this wrt NFL/NBA stuff, but it's really not much worse than your slightly below-average dumb New York fan as far as I can tell.

I really have nothing against the guy because I avoid basketball threads and he avoids baseball threads, so I don't interact with him at all.
