Your sample size is too small. You need at least 50,000 posts to make a proper conclusion. You will see over the long run all of my seemingly terrible posts are not presently presented within the proper context and that my 2p2WAR is actually at epic heights.

Yeah, I see what you mean since it is really important whether someone thinks the tv Seinfeld is pulling tail out of his league or whether Steve Sax was an above average second baseman.

The best thing about this is that I predicted this would happen. If you look at the Steve Sax thread (you would have already if you checked your PM's from Phildo) you will see that I knew you would have to come clean up Phildo's mess. The guy cannot even wipe his own ass - but you seem to do a good job of it for him.

i am not judging the quality of everyone who thinks you are stupid, but it is pretty undeniably true that the vast vast majority of 2p2 thinks you contribute negative value to the forums (to put it mildly). whatever you think about that is your own business

personally i find it great that we have a big shot lawyer who loves to argue on 2p2 that everyone hates much as i enjoy a mid-20's guy with two kids in an unwed relationship supporting his family on a deteriorating online poker industry slinging insults at everyone else

What anyone thinks about it is no concern of mine. I stated that even during the Seinfeld thread. I just like to discuss and argue unimportant matters. It is fun to me. I would have loved to make 1,000 more posts in the Seinfeld thread, but it got locked. I would love to make a 1,000 more posts in the Steve Sax thread as well, but everyone went home.

By the way, while you are here (and all joking aside - which all of the negative stuff is, whether you believe it or not) since you are an authority on the subject:

We were talking about WAR and what types of values it properly captures. How does it account for someone like Darrell Evan's who had such a great arm that people stopped running on him? Obviously his assists go way down and in the scorebook it looks like nothing happened, when in reality he kept a runner from advancing.

I don't think I contribute negative value by the way, and I don't think anyone can say I am stupid with a straight face. I will admit that what I enjoy and do is not eveyone's cup-of-tea, but that's how it goes. If my whole body of work was put on display, there is loads of bitchin' stuff that has kept many people entertained over the years. But, most importantly, I am entertained. So no matter how much I am loathed, I still win because I am very entertained by the whole thing. If I am such a negative factor, I guess the only way to deal with it is a permaban.

I'm not a big shot lawyer by the way. I don't say that, I have never said or implied that I am a big shot. Others add that stuff to be derisive. I don't mind that they do, but I just think it is better that you are so informed.

Actually, I am. I get direct feedback on my arguments all the time from judges and other authorities. I have a good sense of what is a good argument and what isn't. I have conceded my arguements more often than I have held my position on these boards over the years.

I've never seen TSC state what I wrote in the second paragraph. But, under no circumstances would I think he is an idiot. TSC is a very socialable person who seems interested in a wide array of subjects. I know you stat guys look down your nose at someone that does not adhere to your methods, but TSC is pretty sincere in his interests and I don't think trashing him is warranted. I also think TSC is pretty interesting, which is pretty hard to do when posting so much.

Most guys come in here and hit it out of the park for three months, but that's all they got. Once they finish shooting their load, they retire to the monthly low-content threads.
