But people will still constantly overrate them!

If the Chargers could just get Cutlahhh they would ascend together into some kind of overrated nirvana and not even need to play the games to prove themselves. People would just hand them the Lombardi trophy every year.

8th in the league in ANY/A last year among qualifiers and you want to start looking for someone else? I think a team could win a super bowl with any of the top 14 guys by that list.

No, I know Cassel is not a top-8 QB, but he's sure in the upper half of the league, and if he performs like he did last year he's a worthy keeper.

Nonsense, Riverman says I'm delusional and that's good enough for me.

Btw the fans on the Chiefs forums (who are pretty knowledgeable if you sift through the crazies) are pretty sour on Cassel after he **** the bed vs. BAL. I think we've all seen that playbook before where mediocre QB sucks in the playoffs and otherwise great team is squandered. That's what everyone is afraid of. Of course the alternative right now is draft pick or retread. Maybe Carson Palmer.

This is definitely true. I can only imagine where his head is at so falling for what is clear manipulation on her part isn't necessarily all his fault. It might be clear to us but I can only imagine what I'd be thinking in his situation. At least he seems to be taking a step in the right direction, hopefully he can follow through on it and see what people are trying to tell him.

The only non-standard thing MBP is doing in his situation is posting all this in real time on an internet forum. And that's so out-there non-standard I don't even know how to process it.

Exactly. Once a giant bitch, always a giant bitch. Look at his posts in the Bonds thread FFS.

entertainme is a woman.

ETA: I would have just kicked her out and told the world about it (including the golf pro GF). Nothing more than that. Just completely cut her out of my life with no remorse. And if she kills herself, throw a kegger or a party in Vegas.

Dude's a golf pro married to a bored immature elementary school teacher and they're both living a mile from where they grew up. It's not rocket science that neither of them is really the deepest puddle in the yard.

But for whatever reason he feels compelled to put all of this out there for us on the internet. And for that, we thank you MBP.

Yes, of course you would have. But you're not him and you're not in his situation so that's irrelevant.

Really think MBP was dumb to put that on the interwebs. Most serious relationships are pretty hard to walk away from easily, and there's obviously going to be some sort of fallout with someone you've been with for 6 years and married for 2. Putting that serious of stuff on their just opens you up to ridicule when you couldn't be more vulnerable.

I'm honestly not so sure how I'd be if I'd be willing to dump my wife like THAT.... I'd at least think about it for a week or two, and probably go back and forth between every possible decision.

lol you think? The only reason 2p2 isn't all over him about that one is they're benefiting from his weird behavior.

On the scale of ****edupedness during any standard cheating situation - all the back and forth with his wife and the golf pro and sex is like a 2, whereas posting it all in real time on the internet is an 8 or 9 imo.

Very good chance wife finds that thread at some point. And golf pro. At least he picked a good username that's hard to google.

No one can honestly say for sure what they would or wouldn't do in the same situation

Well, I just did. And so you can respond: Hurr durr you don't know.

And so I suppose we are at an impasse. But I really have no tolerance for emotional garbage and I'm pretty cold blooded logically. It's not something I am boasting about, it's just how I generally am.

That's fine but realize that makes you a rare specimen. Most guys are giant pussies when it comes to being strong in the face of hardcore emotional turmoil.

ok, maybe you know what you would do but there are 3000+ posts of people saying what he should do/what they would do in same situation and it's generally not that black and white

@kyleb obviously

Oh no doubt, and I have definitely been emotional myself as well when I personally have made a dumb decision. I am capable of happiness/sadness/grief/anger, certainly. I have cried while being in a relationship and been very sad when one ended.

But when someone violates my trust like that, it's not hard at all for me to just tell them to **** off and not really care if they live or die. That's the only button that someone can push that I will straight up go coooooooooollllldddd blooded on them. It's not like I'm like that all the time.
