I had an awesome idea for the NFL a few days ago.

get rid of college football.

The NFL franchises draft players outta high school (18 year olds), and there is a separate league for the 18-22 year olds that runs during the offseason for the 'normal' NFL (for 23+).

So from september-february we get to watch the NFL with 23+ year olds, and from april-august we get to watch the NFL game but with the 18-22 year olds playing (shorter season than the older players tho). NFL all year round!

so effectively there would be two versions of every NFL team, the 18-22 year old squad, and the 23+ squad.

plus the NCAA/BCS stuff would get eliminated.

i don't have a problem with him although i still feel what i posted is pretty accurate.

a lot of football centric posters don't like me. football threads tend to make me kind of mad so i post like (even more of) a jerk in them.

i think at this point i should start posting in nhl threads with the goal of making people mad so i can be hated in 3 of the 4 major us sports threads.
