Sorry brah, that's over the top trolling. And no, I don't think Schwallie's is the same thing.

lol. Excellent reason on front page though. I thought for a second I was just being paranoid about how much I see him trolling, but now I found this thread and saw the 6 other bans for it, mebbe I just noticed it a lot recently

If Victor made the exact same posts Schwallie has made over the last two days, he would have been banned by now.

Oh spare me. I'm not going to play the "if this then this" game for every ban. Schwallies posts have been over the top but at least obviously so and he's dialed it back and admitted some of what he did was obnoxious. His body of work isn't even on the same par as Epi or Vic or others. Just because he hasn't had a ban as a result of his last week's work doesn't mean he's immune or not close to the line.

Anyways, not gonna debate every judgment call.

Schwallie's recent posting has been like an exact accidental imitation of eyescrew. He's trolling hard in support of his bandwaggoning team while at the same time trying to make it seem like he's just a donk trying to learn. Its super annoying.

No way did I expect the partner-in-crime to come to Epi's defense in this one..so surprised. Then again, you are perm-banned on your other account and the mods are apparently nice enough to allow you to stay and/or troll on the new one even though they know its you, so they probably aren't all that bad of guys.

Seriously though, I like Vic and his posting, dunno why he is banned.

Meh I trolled about reffing once and may have said something/anything last night drunk, but think I was mostly talking normal NBA stuff.

Only reason you're annoyed is because in my normal posting if Epi responds and its a troll I point it out, because its been getting super old that he literally posts like 100% trolls in the threads I watch. He probably posts better on MLB or something, but just during the threads I watch most(Heat, Lakers, NBA) he is constantly doing it.

there are likely people worth debating about 'judgment calls'.

Yep, dunno why anyone gets mad about bans. I would have been fine for getting banned for the dumb trolling on the ref situation or calling out Epi too much or something(not sure if thats against the rules).

If you get banned for the seventh time, it kinda might be time to realize you might be in the wrong and are being detrimental/annoying to the majority.

If you're trying to hint at Asik, then I'll just say that I have other reasons to believe he's pretty damn good on defense (including eye-test), but I'd have to see him do it in starters minutes before he made a top-10 list.
this sort of reasonable, common-sense analysis has no place on an internet sports forum

Meaning, you can't dismiss his numbers - you may argue he's not actually the SECOND best defender in the league (I wouldn't mind that position) but at worst he's top 10, basically.
depends on how you define the word basically, basically

Just found this thread and looked in the front for reasoning on Victor's perm-ban. I don't want to look through 109 pages and figured it would be on the first page, why is it not? Can anyone give me a brief summary since it isn't listed where it should be or what-not?

My understanding is he was temp banned for the death hoax thing, then despite at least one warning and knowing it was a bad idea, he came back and kept posting under a couple of different gimmicks, basically ignoring the ban and knowing that people have been toasted for circumvention (let alone repeated circumvention) in the past.

victor was banned for 2 weeks for attempting to perpetrate some sort of hoax. tu.q said that if anyone banned protested with a gimmick they would get permbanned. victor protested with a gimmick.

it sounds more reasonable when its cliffed like that

the issue that I (and others I think) had was that the alleged "hoax" or whatever shouldn't have resulted in a ban. Vic disobeyed Tuq, but he shouldn't have been put in that position in the first place. And even as it played out he shouldn't have been perma'd. Tuq mad tho

Mods have been super defensive about it, leading me to believe that they know that the situation was handled poorly, but can't go back on the banning quite yet b/c of the need to save face :/ serious business

based on my extensive polling the public stands firmly with VICTOR

IIRC, the post victor made on the gimmick was about Jetto not being involved with the hoax

no i'm pretty sure it was about showing how big his internet dick is. he obv coulda pmed tuq with the gimmick instead of posting ~5 minutes after tuq told him not to.

I'm not defending victor at all or even taking a side, but no he couldn't. PMs are disabled on accounts under 20 posts. (unless this was an existing gimmick w/ 20+ posts obv)

however, he coulda emailed or had someone else relay the message in another way, obviously.

The Free Victor movement really should just stop. Victor has made it clear he doesn't want people campaigning for him
