My apologies if this is talking out of turn at all- but my impression is that there's essentially been a long history of frustration with the skypezilla crowd on the parts of the mods/some readers and that this was just the straw what made the Tuqcamel cry.

It isn't like people got banned just for one thing, or that they couldn't have seen this coming. All of those guys were given a lot of rope, probably more than they should have, and they eventually used it.

Seriously the SZ crazy conspiracy team is doing way, way more damage to this forum than SZ itself by bringing up the crazy conspiracy theory over and over even after it dies down for a bit. Live and let live guys, live and let live.

the real issue with tuq trying to blacklist skypezilla is that if u ask almost anyone who posts in tz (which is the best thread in se) to name the top 30 posters who post in tz around half of them will be skypers if not moar. basically it's gonna make tz far worse.

also contrary to tuq's belief, skype doesn't constantly coordinate attacks on se (infact i can only recall two coordinated efforts let alone "attacks" in the over year period that skype has been around. 1 was the troll in pudge's draft and the other was the rat stuff that jus happened). tuq thinks we do other stuff like try to outlevel the entire forum together which is false, infact if u go on skype it's pretty much every poster ****ting on one another. no one brings up their levels or tries to coordinate levels or w/e tuq thinks we do.

another issue is that while skypers do level even with their levels included their isn't 1 skype poster except for flyingrat who is moar wrong than a lot of tz/se posters. in particular guys like tsc (who thankfully doesn't post much in tz anymoar but still brings his wrongness to other threads), seadood, mebenhoe (who is a mod lol) and even bobbo (altho i like bobbo a lot as a poster and some of his wrongness are def levels but still) are way moar wrong than any skyper aside from rat (but rat is legit in level mode 100% of the time). it's ridiculous that these guys can walk around being wrong so much yet never get banned for it while the occasional skype level is pounced all over.

do i believe that those guys are on SZ consistently plotting about how to troll 2p2? no, of course not. but do i believe that since all of those guys have a better place to discuss sports, many of them don't really care about getting banned so their posting has all gone way downhill? yeah, probably.

i've seen this happen before with kipin.net. and while i think the moderation in both cases was perhaps overly harsh, the feeling was, if you have your own place that you like more, don't trash this one.
