That ignores the accusation of trolling that you immediately threw out which was of zero value, and also that is exactly why I asked you how you were so sure of the defensive values of these players, since you're constantly saying that there isn't any acceptable method to measure it. So either you're basing it off something else which I would be interested to know or you're just completely making things up to get a reaction. Either way, it doesn't change from the fact that these posts are a net negative to any actual discussion taking place, and that this is completely standard for you.

Big Al is terrible on d, i can tell that cause I've watched a bunch of his games and he fails the eyetest hard. Bobbo also says he fails his secret stat test hard as well.

As for sampson, obv it's hard to judge people's defense from 30 years ago so i had to google.com and take the word of others. I know he had a really good defensive rep in college as well.

Because of his declining mobility I'm not sure Sampson could guard a can of stewed tomatoes much less an NBA player towards the end there.

it's taking part in a long pointless argument where i have .01% chance of changing ur or anyone elses mind. everyone defends their players to the death in these drafts (i'm obv guilty of this as well) and after a while u get wiser and realize no one is gonna change their mind regardless of what u say.

this is especially true on the subject on defense where getting "proof" is pretty much impossible.
