I havent been around all year but id like to give away some meaningless gold stars to the best if the best. (most of these guys are specialists in their sports and high volume posters)

Triumph36- one of the best hockey posters and generally right on any topic forum related.

bobbofitos- he will wow you with his knowledge for advanced basketball stats but can anyone use the multiquote function better?

SL__72- really good reseacher/stat guy as well. in all the football threads hes been shining with great posts all year.

Franchise60- I know there are some haters and Hes not a advanced stat geek but theres probably no one who brings more laughs to the forum (the one that cracked me up the most was in a football thread someone says something completely obvious and f60 says "and in other breaking news karaks dick is not wet, stay tuned for more details.

He is fairly knowledgable in sports as well. Another person id put in this vein (someone whos not a stat geek but is really solid in sports knowledge anyway, and generally really funny) is etats360.

Tarheeljks- Shines in threadzilla. The guy just seems extremely smart (i think i remember someone saying he graduated from some great university, but dont remember which one) and one of the people along with bobbo that actually make it readable.

kyleb- One of the better baseball posters and sabermetrics/advanced baseball stat superstar. I wasnt around last year or before but from people ive talked to said he could be thrempish. all ive seen is awesomeness and kindness for the most part, i wish thremp was more like kyleb.

Phildo- Also one of the best baseball posters. Overall definitely intelligent and happens to be a giants fan.

(notable mentions include kbfc and irish hand, who just arent that high volume)

Mods:
Needle77- hes also a great football poster by the way but in general needle77 genuinely seems like a good guy and very fair to everyone.

I realize mods are volunteers, but i take solace that some of the mods take their jobs seriously. The football threads that he patrols for the most part have really great football discussion and very rarely get aids infested or derailed. he doesnt use his mod powers for his own agendas and also needle is about as non confrontational and non controversial as it gets.

72off: i actually got to a rocky start with 72 off, and the way he handled my issues with dignity and class was extremely commendable.

Hes also an EXTREMELY good hockey poster, with just tons of useful posts and guides discussions in good directions.

Hes generally also pretty nice in dealings with a lot of people, especially if your intentions are good. he will give you warnings and send you pms before irrationally pulling the trigger on a ban.

Id probably have to credit 72off the most for making me a better poster and a better person as the year has progressed. He is also one of those people who is non confrontational and non controversial. he also pulled the trigger on the keevin perma.

Without putting down some certain mods this is the type of greatness shown by needle and 72 that all mods should strive for.

footnote (rex ryans favorite type)- it isnt a problem right now since its the offseason but no mod is really a baseball guy. We talked about this last year sometimes because there were a lot of low points in the baseball threads due to no one really caring, not lolo was allowed to roam free forever ffs.

id like to nominate phildo for the next mod thats inducted.
