This is like the surest sign that there is no hope for us as a species.

Think of the level of discourse of politics-- of government-- in the politics forum.

Then realize how much higher it is than your average politics forum.

THEN realize that THOSE ARE THE PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY WANT TO BE INFORMED AND ENGAGED ON THE SUBJECT, and then realize that the vast majority of people DON'T EVEN KNOW THAT MUCH.

Ive never really visited there tbh, but might oblige since your one of my favorite posters, and it might be fun.

With strippers, there is a certain point - my take is 3-6 months - where they cease looking at men as people and start viewing them as ATMs, and instead of a debit card the stripper thrusts her tits and snatch into a customer's face for 3 1/2 minutes at a time and out comes the cash. Henceforth a stripper is ruined - relationships become purely transactional in nature. Which, let's face it, relationships ARE largely if not wholly transactional, but with them it's laid bare by the removal of any pretense.

With politards on 2+2, there is a certain point - my take is around 100-200 posts/year in that forum - where any semblance of actually discussing issues ceases and they all turn into ******ed zombies and spend every thread doing a semantics dance to some beat that only they can hear. Meanwhile, all the non-politards look upon them with like wtf is the matter with these people, and measures are taken to make sure their ******ed little dance is contained to that forum and doesn't infect the rest us with whatever extreme strain of AIDS that they all acquired by osmosis. It's like if Michael Moore wrote a zombie movie starring a bunch of nerds.

If I walk into somewhere for lunch that has CNN or Fox news on the tv my head basically starts to explode. All kinds of politics talk in any way shape or form in my life, I just tune out completely. That is one thing I will never understand.

triumph gets an honorable mention because hes probably the best hockey poster.

phildo is really really smart when it comes to baseball but its not my favorite sport so thats the only reason hes not in the top 5.

your my favorite moderator, especially when you have some alcohol in your system. Most people would post way worse after drinking but somehow you get better.

I'm actually quite intoxicated right now. Just played a 6 hour session of Call of Duty and I'm pretty sure I made a 12 year old cry. Highlight of my night so far. This text battle I'm having right now could jump over it though.
