those were the days. i was on oxy too lolz. out of my mind. the sober life has been really good to me. cant say i wont ever go back but not today baby. 18 months. i have the best time with these people. very high end drunks out here. rich, smart, insane m'fers. we go out after meetings and its a blast. help the newcomer and everything.

I'm well versed in Dopesmoker. It has accompanied me on many a long drive.

You should listen to Om. It's the bassist from Sleep and a drummer playing stoner metal/eastern religious music fusion. I listen to it while coding a lot.

i drove from san diego to houston to virginia to buffalo and back. third of the way around the globe. dopesmoker was a big help getting me through it. i dig om too. i heard that album. i should listen more to them i researched the band sleep a bit when i first heard them six months ago. the other sleep album "holy mountain" is pretty fun too. not epic but idk they wake you up and you say ahh a few times.

i love electric wizard...wizard in black being a favorite tune. funeralopolis. but a lot by them is cool with me. and two songs by stoned jesus

"Im the mountain" being the other song by them...

band "witch", song "seer" great riff and tune.

Whether cilantro tastes soapy to you depends on your genetic makeup (OR6A2 among others). So for some people, it's easy to overdo cilantro and make things soapy, while for others (like me) you can pile it on and I'm fine with it.

Oh snap you guys like Dopesmoker and doom metal? This is one of my best friend's bands. I REALLY love the album. Pretty slow build, so worth the wait. If anyone wants a copy on vinyl or whatever get at me.

I didn't know how much I liked doom metal until this year. Also was legit shocked at how many tight little hotties attend doom metal concerts. Not even the kind of chick you're picturing in your mind either. Totally "normal" looking 10's just there bobbing their heads. Shocked the **** out of me.
