NYC ppl

I'm looking to rent a cabin like 2.5hrs max away from the city for an outdoorsy relaxing weekend.

It seems like Catskills and Woodstock are popular options. I guess poconos too but from what I heard Catskills is much better for hiking and stuff

Any suggestions? Also I guess I'm gonna use airbnb but if you know of anything else lmk

Also NYC ppl

CookUnity is pretty elite. It's on seamless but they have their own app too. Restaurant quality entrees for like $12-15. Only downside is that I'm not quite stuffed by one entree but I'm certainly more full than I would be for like a blue apron meal

Catskills has great hiking, would recommend. Check VRBO too, sometimes they have inventory you don't see on Airbnb.

New Paltz/Mohonk Mountain House area is another option.

I also really like Beacon it's about 1.5 hrs away. I go up there for day trips a lot. Cool town with good food, coffee shops, breweries etc. If you're just looking to chill in a cabin all weekend, this prob isn't the best option, but it's a fun place.

I use this site for hiking spots and guides:

I only really find kpop things by stumbling on them randomly, so if you got any suggestions on similar stuff to those two I posted I'm all ears

Most of it sounds the same to me since I still barely know korean, but "Sistar" are probably the girls I find the most attractive:

Spoiler:

this song bangs pretty hard. Different red velvet song from the one you posted before.

twice is horrible, definitely the epitome of overrated. just so popular cuz they won on one of those TV shows but every song has the same annoying autotune stuff. do yourself a favour and move on to blackpink, gfriend, red velvet, dreamcatcher, KARD, or mamamoo

So life update (cross-posted in Politics LC).

After almost 7 years working for a health insurance company up here in Seattle, I'm changing jobs and will be working at Facebook's Seattle office as a data scientist, starting tomorrow! I'm sitting at the Seattle airport right now waiting to fly down to Menlo Park for my first two days of work. I'm super excited for a couple of reasons.

First, this expands the world of professional opportunities for me beyond health care, both in terms of the kinds of data I can work with and the kinds of companies I can work for. Second, I'm hopeful this starts to set some precedent for expanding the scope of the kinds of work actuaries can do. Actuaries are basically data scientists who go through a rigorous certification process, and they should aspire to make data/analytics for a wide range of companies beyond insurers.

Here's to new adventures!
