There is no reason to veto trades except in cases of obvious collusion. In this case, the other owners are mad because they weren't grinding the trade game as hard as Eltbus

How big of a company?

I work for a huge one, and if something like this comes up we actually have reporting channels for such a thing. If it was for some lower level local boss, id bypass that and tell them to screw.
