SHAME using we for two teams. Gotta at least commit and bash the lolusmnt from time to time.
07-27-2015 , 05:54 PM
i think in the past ive used we for israel, england, czech republic, maybe even canada. what can i say, im a multi-national obv
07-27-2015 , 06:11 PM
Using we for club teams =/= using we for your country

Even so using we for two club teams, especially those competing against each other, is largely unacceptable
07-27-2015 , 06:27 PM
Prophylactically, I hereby prohibit you from ever using "we" when referring to DEUTSCHLAND!!!

Fifa president Sepp Blatter deserves a Nobel Prize, says Russian president Vladimir Putin.

World football's governing body is engulfed in a corruption crisis, including an investigation into the award of the 2018 World Cup to Russia.

"People like Mr Blatter or the heads of big international sporting federations, or the Olympic Games, deserve special recognition," said Putin.

"If there is anyone who deserves the Nobel Prize, it's those people."

I was going to say expert trolling, but that's actually laying it on too thick.

You got to admire the no shame attitude, though.

so it seems as if asia needs to refine its qualifying when ****ing qatar of all teams puts up a tennis score on someone. i guess bhutan's entire team were busy building stadia and had accidents or something

also china still crying over der markt, could only draw 0-0 with hong kong

Spoiler:
This round all of the 1 and 2 seeds played at home, so there was always going to be some whoopings.

I prefer this format anyway, since it encapsulates both the main parts of Asian Cup qualifying as well as the WC qualifiers, saving us having to play other relatively useless games.

Atiba & Johnson back in the team, Straith in defense rather than the midfield, noice

Canada wins 3-0, could have been even worse. 77% possession, dominated them more than any opponent i can remember. good news heading into the away leg.

and in other news, Nicaragua currently up 3-0 in Jamaica.

CONCACAF, Round 3 - First Leg:

Antigua and Barbuda - Guatemala 1-0
Canada - Belize 3-0
Curacao - El Salvador 0-1
Grenada - Haiti 1-3
Jamaica - Nicaragua 2-3 (!)
St. Vincent/Grenadines - Aruba 2-0

Jamaica went from 0-3 down to at least a doable situation, need to win by two goals in Nicaragua.

Second legs on the 8th, along with another Matchday in Asia.

Did anyone catch the Canada Belize game? Got the local Belize channel 5 stream with horrible 80s quality. Though the local broadcast crew Madbull and Maestro made it an incredible watch!
09-08-2015 , 10:58 PM

sources confirn.

Jamaica still looking for 1 more goal to save their 2018WC campaign, they got about 20min + Fergie time to get it done.
09-08-2015 , 11:30 PM
super sub Simon Dawkins gives Jamaica the goal they need in the 89th or 90th minute (need BAIDS to look into this ldo), the Reggae Boyz see the match out and advance to the next round after all.

Guatemala still looking for a goal of their own, lest they be eliminated by mighty Antigua and Barbuda.

edit: ok, Ruiz got one
i'll shut up now
