oh well, at least we get CHEPO back. we going to be crushing it with him.

also, Pumas into QFs and they don't have to play River Plate because those Argentine *******s lost their R16 matchup as well! they lost to some team I've legit never heard of so LOL LIBERTADORES. this just shows the amount of luck needed to win this ****hole of a tournament.

Corinthians sold all of their starters to China after I posted that and Boca is still in but tbf I have no idea who is going to win it now. Atletico Nacional looks like the best team at this point i guess.

not to brag or anything, but LIGA MX is the absolute GOAT league when it ones to entertainment.

we just had two awesome CLASICOS in the QFs, and another two great QFs. now we are left with two amazing semis featuring 4 great teams.

America vs Monterrey
Leon vs Pachuca

yes we do and you sound so ****ing jealous that you don't have it it

LIGA MX SRSLY GOATYTYYYTTTTTTTT. I was at party tonight drinking all night and we had about 10 strong all huddled around watching the America Monterrey game from a small phone screen. leg two of this game will seriously go down as one of the greatest games ver played in te history of soccer:football. no one watches in this forum so no one will believe me except probably Klingsbaard, but that leg 2 delivered so
ducking hard. it's a. shame no one in this forum will appreciatw how A++++++ this league is.

leg 1: 1-0 America HOME win over Monterrey
leg 2: was played tonight in Montrrrey

-first half ends Monterrey up 1-0. in EUROPE, this would mean ET/PKs, but
in MEXICO GOAT, the team that made most points (Monterrey) goes thru. but as long as both legs aren't identical , away goals win.
-Monterrey scores again to go 2-0 and 2-1 overall. doesn't change much as America still gets in with a goal and 2-1 loss.
-AMERICA scores to make it 1-2 and 2-2 overall,
meaning they are in.
-MONTERREY scores around 77th min to make it 3-1 and 3-2 overall. for the moment they are in.
-AMERICA scores at around 81st min to make it 2-3 and 3-3 overall and we all thought they were in the final
-but NOOOO, MONTERREY SCORES IN 84th min to make it 4-2 and 4-3 overall.!!! that's how it ends and MONTERREY IS A FINALIST. ON YOUR BIKE OIGRES AND AMERICA

this liga mx final has actually been pretty entertaining, lots of scoring opportunities.

most entertaining was watching a guy blast a PK 5 feet over the crossbar and then scoring like 5 minutes later on a laser accurate shot from 10 feet outside of the penalty area.

red card for trying to de-pants a guy from behind on a break away lol.

blue team (Pachuca) really getting worked over pretty good.

whoa holy s**t that ending. and in true Mexican style, the celebrating Pachuca players getting pelted with beer cups after that unbelievable winning goal.

Also the whole Alan Pulido thing is just sad. thankfully hes been returned safely, but im not buying at all that he managed to call it in himself to get rescued. The kidnappers probably didnt know they had kiďnapped someone so famous and were ****ed in ever getting out of this successfully.

Probably the kidnappers realized that since Greece is now poorer than Mexico no one was going to pay anything for the guy.

I have almost never watched Libertadores (just not been very possible unfortunately) but here early on I'm liking this quite a bit more than say the Portugal - Wales game.

A number of interesting players also that I'm looking at.

Also this is way too premature to say, when I've watched so little, and on top of that likely unfair because I only watched River during the world club championship stage, but both of these teams kind of look like they have more to offer. I thought River were pretty disappointing and limited.

yeah I also think the att mids behind and around him have been too selfish and not too clever with some of their decisions.

Borja for Nacional has done the complete striker job the other way with much less support.

Marlos Moreno is probably the most worthy of hype in this game. Blistering pace and seems skilled and pretty creative too even if it's far from all put together.

Calleri looks weak slow and soft. Not sure how that's on the attacking mids
