I've spent 5 hours at a snooker table as a kid before saying **** this ****. Didn't help that the nearest table to me was an hour and a half away

Murphy's safeties have been awful. Selby misplaying easy sports but still has the advantage.

Wtf at that Slowby cheat, cue ball not even close to where it was first in the awful spot behind brown. Then just coolly uses a normal rest. At least studio called him out on ES. Guess im on team Smurf now.

I want Murphy to win but it really wasn't very different between the first attempt and the fourth:

That looks close, true. Wasnt paying full attention and sound was off. Weird that the in-between efforts (was it 1 or 2?) cue ball def was different, players usually want it to be near perfect and that was a meaningful one. Thx for the pic, maybe can live with a Selby win after all

Can tell people haven't been out for a while. Crowd going nuts! You love to see it.

Come on Murphy lets kick on and win this!

Murphy forgot he could pot red in right middle? Looked a lot easier than the long shot he tried.

Congrats Selby

I guess this is how Selby "moves on" from losing to O'Sullivan last year.

Quote from O'Sullivan prior to the chp.

Just looking at triple crown winners

Jesus, Hendry in the 90s was incredible.

Ronnie got the longevity.

Higgins and Williams coulda had fantastic careers if they dedicated themselves I think? Didnt follow closely 2005 - 2015 years but they probably lost some of the fire and didnt take it too seriously for a bunch of years? Ronnie still racked up titles even if he kinda coasted as well? So impressive for the -92 class to be playing the way they are (okay maybe not this tourney lol).

Haha Selby was geniunely embarrassed to have to talk after mc Magician.

Higgins absolutely crushed O'Sullivan 6-1 in the Scottish semi. Frame 6 Higgins was up 74 with 67 still on the table and Ronnie conceded, looked to me he just quit the match at that point. Frame 7 was 94-0 or something bad. Surprisingly Higgins was the slight dog.

Brecel also won 6-1 fairly convincingly in the other semi. McGill never could string anything together, and Brecel never gave up much. McGill had an embarassing miscue in frame 2, not sure how much that bothered him.

I'm glad to see Brecel's resurgence. I always thought he was underrated, but he will need to play lights out against Higgins, who is clearly playing like #1 in the world at this point.

Yeah love to see Brecel performing like this! He had an early match on a decider and on black I think, margins so close. Not looking bad now, but John prolly gonna put up a fight...

Not snooker, but you have to rewatch the Jones/Alcaide match from the Mosconi Cup. Final frame belongs in any WTF moment compilation

The Scottish Open being held in Wales because the original venue had a problem with the event sponsor
