If you haven't seen it yet, this documentary on Ronnie was really good.

Mark Allen made a 147 last night. He also won one frame 53-27 on the blue.

Yeah, thanks this was brilliant

I swerved it initially as nearly all sports documentaries now are fluffy PR at best but this was superb.

ronnie just played a best of 11 game and missed two pots, one of which was the final black of a century break

Rooting for Ronnie, but couldn't resist betting Kyren to win it all at +2800

I too am rooting for Ronnie. If he can win 8 of each of the TC events it’s some feat.

Theres talk of them moving away from Sheffield after the 50 years is up. It can only be a good thing for the game but hopefully it’s to a place where there will be foot fall and not just going for the money like the tournament that was in SA that was empty.

Moving to the ally pally could be a good option but you’d have to move the masters away from there.

Not sure if there any other venues, Hong Kong would be good but you’ve then got the difficulty of the time zones for the main (?) audience of the UK as China viewership will no doubt be more.

ronnie got paid a lot of money to lobby for saudi arabia and will open a snooker academy there, so he's been badmouthing the crucible
i am a huge fan of the snooker player o'sullivan and hope he gets his 8th, but this whole case doesnt sit well with me.
I'd rather play snooker in a country with dated accommodations than a country that is known for violating human rights

In which country do the organizers send better hoookers to your room?

Was walking past the Crucible yesterday, setting up deckchairs by a big screen outside the venue given the weather we've had recently seems to be the peak of optimism

Had a bet on Maguire to reach the final, he'll probably be up against Murphy next who he hate so i'm sure he'll turn up then it's either Gilbert/Milkins/Pang in the QF nothing too scary then probably one of Allen/Higgins/K.Wilson in the SF

Other half of the draw has Ronnie/Trump/Ding/Hawkins/Bingham/Lisowski oooft
