Loads more ranking events now a days otherwise his record might not be reachable.

Depending on the draw for the WC but I think it's a safe bet to lay Ronnie & Jude Trump to win atm.. I can't see past those 2 players for the World Championships.

And that's what sucks because Trump has the beating off ronnie like everytime, ronnie melts when playing him to a certain extent, Trump IS his bogeyman.

Just looking a the odds, but my feeling is:

I'd prefer Trump to Robertson before the draw but that's a tough draw for Trump so I guess it makes sense.

Not sure about Ronnie. The draw could have been kinder and a run of close matches may take it out of him. He's favourite for sure, but not sure there is any value in betting on him.

Top quarter looks a bit weaker - Higgins or Wilson most likely coming through there.

Maybe value in Ding (33-1) or Murphy (66-1) for long shots?

I always love watching this, but the Worldsnooker feed on Facebook never seems to work well in the states. Might have to find some streaming site where I can watch the live coverage. Even though I’ve never seen an actual snooker table in my life, I love watching the Crucible every year.

fyi snooker tables are like 3x bigger than u imagine. on tv it looks like a jumped up pool table - they are in fact gigantic

K. Wilson and B Hawkins from the 1st section and Ronnie and Trump from the 2nd section for me, with Shaun Murphy and Ding as outsiders...

I'm going with Jude Trump as I see him as being the complete professional this season who now has the drive and hunger. With a smaller bet on Shaun Murphy as a outsider as those odds are to good to pass up for that draw.
