If you really want to make your blood boil, if Rome makes 30 million from his show, imagine how much Rush makes. (or don't imagine, it's something like 40 mil a year plus a 100 million signing bonus at the start of his latest contract)

Rome has held a national sports talk radio show for like 20 years going. Yes he makes a lot of money but so do other people who host shows for decades and still manage to keep viewers. Jay Leno is ****ing atrocious and makes more than that. Did people think Jim Rome didn't make a ****load of money? He also gets a lot of vacation.

I have no idea the viewership numbers nor do I care. LOL @ being flabbergasted by the amount of money a radio guy makes. Doesn't Stern make like 9 figures a year? Limbaugh was asked back in the '90s if he'd run for President and he said no way it's a huge paycut.

Big personalities who have held down national shows for years and years make big bucks.

I try not to watch First Take on most days because it has become pure trash but I saw that Cuban was gonna be on this morning so as a huge mavs/cuban fan thought i'd tune in. As expected, Cuban is tearing Skip to shreds and Bayless has nothing to counter with except pointless generalities and his loud, obnoxious voice. Loving how Cuban is posing simple fundamental basketball questions and even those Skip can't answer.

My progression of feelings on Skip:

So Angry!!!

Annoyed that this bum found a job and is no longer the homeless dude hunting bears in Penn Square mall.

Then I realized he was probably paid by espn for his views, so angry again that espn hired this dude who knew a little about sports to troll the world and suck tebows dick. I know dudes who have been sucking Tebows dick for free since high school, come on man you didn't really believe that whole "waiting for marriage" thing?

Then this morning I realized he didn't even know anything about sports, angrier that I listened to him.
