Yeah sorry, I didnt explain it very well.
What you described is called arena ice (curling played in an arena, normally on a hockey rink.) Dedicated ice is a club normally separated into a clubhouse on one side and a sheet of ice separated into 3-5 curling lanes on the other. Looks something like this.
These are common in Canada and the northern hockey loving states. I don't know how many of them fall south of the Mason Dixon line.
