It was a weird decision by the selectors, imo, but that team had done the best of the three at the World Curling Tour last year when they made it and Murdoch's form after the last olympics meant they weren't obviously the best Scottish team any more.

I don't know, but I assumed they were trying to build something like they have with (Eve) Muirhead's team, commit to it when they're young and build them up. However I've already seen stories that lack of performance here (and that means no medal) would put curling's funding from the UK lottery at risk, and that's more-or-less the only way sports like curling survive in the UK.

Watching Shustahhhh vs Canada live.

Gotta say to OP, thanks for starting this thread, as a Canadian I would have watched our team, but thanks to this thread I watched Shustahhhhs games to and had some really lol moments because of it.

I feel like these shots really separate elite skips from mediocre to good ones. When you have no clear decision finding the right play seems really difficult.
