We do it to prevent fraud but limits can be set on the alerts, how hard would it be to tell your accountant to let you know when a transaction over $50k is processed?

English and Japanese are very different. I've studied spanish for more than a decade, know all the words and tenses etc, but if I had to do a live Spanish interview I'd probably have to get an interpreter.

Sure, but the whole point is that Ohtani thought there was sufficient oversight and that they'd let him know if something was off.

Ohtani doesn't live in the US during the off-season from what I understand. Also, the whole issue with Ippei doesn't have a ton to do with Ohtani's ability to speak English right now, but rather with how his life was set up when he was much worse at speaking English.

baseball is great. every situation is tense as hell. you think its a slow paced game but really its high pressure all the time, unless team has too big a lead. plus they just sped up the game, they are done fast now.
