I got started on The Last Kingdom today on Netflix. Had actually read the first book years ago but never read on, can't even remember the plot now. I'm 3-4 episodes in and it's pretty good so far--concept is cool, plot so far is pretty entertaining, acting is meh but not so bad that it's distracting.

Not gonna win any awards but seems bingeable, especially for those waiting for the return of GOT

started watching monk because i have amazon prime watch and i saw it there. breezed through first season. not the worlds greatest show but wanted to come by to recommend it, at least so far. it ran a while and i think highly of the main dude (tony schalub)

Just rewatched season 1 and it was cool seeing all the locations in New Orleans since I moved to an office down there in October. The bar (which is no longer a bar) where Marty picks up the T Mobile girl is two blocks from my office in Elmwood.

Was season 3 shot on location in Arkansas or elsewhere?

S3 of TD has been excellent so far. Some moaners in OOTV about things being too slow but that's OOTV for you. My only gripe with TD S1 was the reveal which I thought was fairly meh but otherwise fantastic. Hoping S3 has a decent pay off.
