watched half of the most recent ep, was super boring

and the entire show seemed shot in slow motion for some reason
pretty unnecessary seeing as how nothing was happening
(it was like watching The George Michael Sports Machine)

Yeah you hear stuff about actors not wanting to come out because 'Murricans won't buy into a gay action star or whatever, but no one discusses something like Scientology in the same context. Couldn't care less about a gay dude kicking ass, but someone who believes in volcano aliens or whatever the **** weirds me out.

Did you like leftovers prior to the finale?

didn't watch any of the leftovers but interested if they ended it like LOST or actually explained the rapture if someone wants to PM me or post in spoilers. (I was in the minority that loved the LOST last season).

according to Nora since we didn't see any shots is she went to the land where all the leftovers went and while people in her dimension lost a few in the other dimension they lost 98 percent of the population. After leaving the machine that transported her, she was left naked and alone in Australia. She eventually travelled home by boat to see her family and kids and her kids were older and so was her husband; her husband had moved on with another beautiful woman and so she didn't want to disturb them. She then found the guy who made the machine in the alternative universe and got him to build a machine to take her back.

This doc is very good if you're interested in the subject.

i caught some of this while my wife was watching it, and it was truely crazy. I didn't see anything about the "hole" linked above, but it covered the SeaOrg in depth and talked to people that had escaped. Crazy how so many celebrities are involved in a cult like that.

I liked The Leftovers series finale. Hated the series as a whole especially the entire final season. Basically the anti-lost and probably just the showrunner looking for redemption but failed.

The third season was truly just unbelievably bad . If you watched first 2 seasons and then only the s3 finale with 0 context of the other 7 episodes you wouldn't have missed a thing. The entire third season was a massive waste of time.

Leftovers finale was good but I agree overall it was a slightly above average series for me with season 3 dragging it down
