Oh man, that guy is impressively bad. Simple scroll wheel, scroll wheel, whenever I look into any OOTV thread he's spewing in.

I can't stand the Dolores/william on the train storyline. Just way too cheezy for my taste.

Hopkins is fantastic as usual but in general I feel like there's some brutal overacting on this show. Just off the top of my head the two doctor dudes, William, Williams brother in law, and the black chick sent by board of directors all seem like they took acting lessons from weiners kid.
I think McPoyle has actually been pretty good. The second doctor is terribad, and the board chick is terrible.

The real people being robots seemed inevitable, but hopefully they don't get carried away with it. Every other person turning into one would ruin it.

It does seems like Ford is trying to infiltrate everything with robots though

Did I misinterpret the scene or was the "blood sacrifice" line from Hopkins meant to show that the lady sent by the board was also a host (she used the same line)?

Also, are we meant to assume that he was building the host version of her in the basement to replace the real one he killed?

Maybe I am being too charitable but some of the "bad acting" in this show feels like deliberate overracting meant to make you wonder about who the hosts are. Definitey some Phillip K Dick stuff ahead imo, they still haven't shown evidence that the "real world" even exists or that any of the characters actually interact with it.

I interpreted it the same way but no idea if it's right

Hopkins controls all the bots, so exploited bot tied to bed could have passed on the info.

110 Wall of mother ****ing text posts and that's just in the Westworld thread. I've engaged with him a few times, and I've got no problems with him - I wished I could write like he does - but it is really, really hard when every single ****ing post of his is basically a thesis of the universe.

Re: William and Delores
I actually really like this plot line. Maybe not the line itself, but the concept of it.

Sure you can go to westworld for a day, hook up with a prostitute, shoot a dude in a gun fight, good times.
If you stay a few more days, you can get out to another city, where things get a little more lawless, and a little more out of hand.
Keep staying and now you'll actually "know" some of the bad dudes you are dealing with.
even longer, even farther out, now you are on a train heading farther and farther, **** getting crazier and crazier.

Maybe the William & Delores stuff isn't the best, although i bet it pays off in the end, but the concept of it is pretty cool.

I interpreted it as Ford basically saying he's always watching. Whether that means the girl is a host, or just he has cameras everywhere, I'm not exactly sure.

I really like their plotline too and think Simpson is doing a great job. They've developed his character really well.

if you look at the dialogue by itself it's just Ford letting her know you can't scheme behind his back in his park, in terms of what it means to the viewer I don't think it's intended to convince you the new girl is a host, you can easily think of other ways for him to find out.

I thought it was pretty clear that he got it from the tied up host. I think Elsie flat out told one of the techs in an earlier episode that it was a common misconception that hosts stop logging when they're in sleep mode

Not to mention the extreme depravation of tying up a host that is already under your control

I'm on board with everything. As others have said the two workers in the Maeve storyline are probably the worst part, but its like complaining about the sand snakes in got. The ride is great, it can't be perfect.
