WTF at Dormer not having to do the walk of atonement. If she was half the woman i fantasize about she would definitely get off on that kind of thing. Hopefully Arya can finally start doing something now. I think the Arya/Iron islands lines finally moving towards the central plot is a huge plus for the series.

Also i tried really hard to come up with something better than Drogon ex machina while watching the first scene but it's just not possible.

i'm not sure how anyone could say bran is boring at this point. he might be the most powerful/important person OAT. and he is the vehicle for awesome backstory flashbacks we couldn't otherwise have, so he is basically a win win.

Was there any point to the Arya Braavos detour? She mopped a bunch of floors and got hit in the face with a stick repeatedly. Is she any better of an assassin now than she was when she first showed up? She has learned none of the faceless men tricks.

It's important we learn exactly what she thinks she learned before making any judgment I think. If she learned about the conflicting nature of killing and reasons behind motivations and that causes her to dump her revenge list then maybe she's the most realistic dynamic character in the show. Boring, but ultimately redeeming.

While technically true it seems like reading is generally looked down upon and reading about the stuff that Sam does/maesters do is super rare. After all most people south of the wall think white walkers/Giants etc don't even exist.

@Krayz - yep. i agree that the last season bran was actually in he was pretty f boring, but we are reaping the reward now. i mean, all he has given us in the last few weeks is ToJ, the creation of the white walkers, the night king, the mad king, hold the door, etc. BORING.

Bran sucks as a character. The flashbacks are really awesome and they could have shown those scenes without Bran. Bran has made a horrid decision at every turn and if he ends up being the savior of the world and most powerful person alive than the entire show will be downgraded to crap.
