Dany as PERK is perfect. They should leave all the Dany scenes on the cutting room floor and replace them with some combination of Varys/Tywin/Lady Oleena even if it's just those three gossiping, they're the underplayed bench players.

Good episode. Don't want to wait for the trial. God damn week off. Everything was predictable or given away though. The oberyn vs mountain aspect was given away by the season trailer. Moon door situation was probably obvious because of episode preview if you saw it, but def obv once LF talked to Sansa in the courtyard. Even the hound getting jumped you could see coming based on the way if was shot. I hate surprise stuff like that so I was just waiting for it to challenge.

LF is obsessed with only two things, power and his unrequited love. How will that murder go over exactly, and what about the boy ? Will LF get the power, or will the boy have to take flight as well?

It was pretty clear the Bronn had changed based simply by his omission from the previous episode. The Bronn of old wouldn't have been absent through all of that. Can't blame him though.

Oberyn is just awesome. That line about cersei sharing his love of killing lannisters cracked me up. He seems really smart and likable, so naturally I expect him to change colors or die very quickly. People like that don't last long in KL.

Arya is still pretty awesome. She has the disposition to really go places. Ruthless and vengeful.

Brienne/Pod was time wasting filler. Stannis really Stannised it out of the park. More standing around idly in his camp. Meh. Dany still pretty sucky. Wall was short and pretty useless.

Surely we will have a Brann heavy episode soon.

I figured Brienne/Pod were already heading to The Eyrie, so i was kind of surprised when they 'changed course' to head there now. Seemed like the most logical place to start.

The completely unnecessary nudity in the Lady Melisandre scene was a nice touch. It was just like hey, this scene is pretty much a waste of time, but she looks good naked, so we'll stage it during bathtime. I don't even know where they're going that they need to be taking his daughter, are they going to attack KL again, are they going to the Wall, I don't know.

I'm reading the books right now and I pretty much skim through those chapters. Although that will likely change as I get further along, but aorn those are far and away the most boring chapters.

Going back to last week's GoT episode, I'm interested to see when Varys' plans come to the front.

I mean he flat out told Price Oberyn that he's spending all his efforts plotting/working towards sitting on the iron throne.

It wasn't talked about much because there's not much to say I guess, but just rewatched the episode so it was fresh in my mind.

And yeah I picked the right bandwagon to jump in for the trial participants but especially with hindsight it was an easy pick to make.

A hearty LOL to all those who said it would be Jamie vs Bronn tho.
