For as amazing of a world builder/plotter as he is, GRRM really does seem like a huge POS.

I'd choose Benioff/Weiss to finish the novels if I could. They're both accomplished writers and obviously have a great grasp of the world and characters.

Meh. Once again I thought it was a "good" show, in that I enjoyed it, but I just didn't laugh at all. The guy from the Office isn't funny at all, I don't appreciate his brand of humor. Same w/ the guy who owns the house, his performance is fine but it wasn't funny.

Only character I really like is the guy from Party Down. (Roman Debeers GOAT)

Also, opening scene was really good. Ramses is such such an insane ****, and it looks like these were the girls that wooed Theon prior to his castration. The brunette is as crazy as Ramses.

agreed. It's an awesome example of how truly mind-****ed theon must be at this point. He's already had chances to escape, was a trap. Well, mad men didn't have a teaser or trailer. Very little advertising for it. No indication of what was up next so I didn't really have any hype for mad men yet.

Great two hours of tv between the two though. Saving silicon valley for tomorrow.

Mad Men was good. Not on the same level as tonight's GoT but they're a mostly poor comparison to begin with.
