Didn't intend to include rankings but had to rank the dramas so I roughly ranked the rest. Larry David is definitely the best character of the two but I like the variety of AD more.

Freaks and Geeks isn't really a comedy and only ran one year from 1999-2000 so I'm not sure if it qualifies as "past 2000."
I got The Shield and Justice confused. Have not seen The Shield.
Good point about F&G, guess you could call it a dramedy. Just watched this recently and couldn't believe only one season was produced.
