I watched it all and my verdict is that American Vandal is a masterpiece. They nailed the style so perfectly. Watched Making a Murderer a couple of month or so ago (wasn't great imo) and only because of that do I realize now that AV is great.

Wondering how many of you were all in after 1-2 episodes of the Wire or Show me a Hero? Obviously whatever substance the show will have will be born out over time, not sure not feeling entertained after two episodes means all that much. From a strictly historical perspective I find the show pretty interesting tbh.

agree, just finished the whole thing. kinda stopped being a comedy at all after the first ep aside from the hilarious segment where the filmmakers made the case against each other. really just turned into a solid story and the way it mirrors making a murderer was perfect.

also, not sure if this is the right place for it but im a couple eps into ken burns the vietnam war and it is astonishingly good.

If you're into Ken Burns documentaries, his new one on Vietnam (PBS) is easily his finest one yet. It's unlike any other I've seen in that it deep dives into the POV of the North Vietnamese as well. Highly recommended.

The Nas stuff is pretty lol in the last couple episodes, it has suddenly turned into a modern version of Oz and he is Beecher

But any of the Jack Stone or Chandra stuff is still really good, same with Detective Box

Walton Goggins is probably my favourite T.V actor, he's great, not sure how someone else would go playing that role. Between this, playing Shane in The Shield and Boyd in Justified he's done some really great ****.

the end of Ep5 is the nadir...it gets better, much better from there.
