Watched first episode too and already hate all the characters and I'm perturbed it was shot in Georgia. Reviews weren't really mind blowing or anything so probably done as well. Looked like a ****tier version of s1 bloodlines

I finished Ozark. It turned into exactly what I feared: a D+ Breaking Bad. There are some ridiculously generic, shallow characters in it and zero surprises. I noticed afterwards there are numerous articles out there ragging on it for being yet another middle age, middle class white dude goes shockingly criminal hack show. It has actually caused me to begin my first ever Breaking Bad rewatch, now on S1E2. Breaking Bad >^> Ozark.

It's funny how shows like Fargo and BCS get "omg awful show lol this lol that terrible episode etc" when you compare them side by side those shows are clearly multiple tiers above shows like Ozarks.
