Euron's biggest part of his platform was just that he had a cock and Theon/Yara didn't.

Theon : She's been fighting with the Ironborn, what have you been doing?
Euron : Lol I heard you lost your cock. No wonder.

when they actually build the ships I will make this complaint

They've sort of been suggesting that he is actually there (sort of) in the visions. Like when he thought Ned heard him and getting marked.

I'm expecting him to get a power up and rek some zombies, but I probably watch too much anime.

fair, although the response to his command seemed like "sure chief we'll head right over to Shipbuilder Forest!"

(also it seems a bit weird to introduce this new character and then have him sit on the Iron Islands marooned...)

Honor thing was epic except for the fact they appear to be walking into a torrential blizzard 100 feet away.

Hodor deserved a hallway with a sword and a big ass gate.

did bran absolutely have to warg into vision hodor at the same time as present hodor or did he do it just for fun

- yeah curious to see how Meera & Bran get away, seeing as how they don't have much of a head start. if it doesn't involve Bran using his superpowers then wtf. or maybe Hodor will hulk up and Hodor for a couple weeks as they slowly trek through the snow.
- as the show loves to play fast and loose with time, i suspect this ship-building program will be completed way too fast. shame they couldn't have done that thing sooner, would have been perfect for one of those storylines they just shelve for 2-3 seasons (which is what happened with the II anyway, could have done it a long time ago without Theon involved), but now there's probably not time for that.
- anyone have a good theory as to what LF is up to? possible he's telling the truth and will help Sansa take WF back (could see him having some secret alliance with Umber maybe), or he's lying and is on #TeamRam. would lol pretty hard if #stupidStark Sansa gets got by a Ramsey/LF alliance, but i really doubt that happens as they seem to be trying to make her into some kind of hero, when in reality she's playing checkers like her parents & brother.

was pointed out that there was no KL this week, outside of that play Arya watched, so we should get the Tyrells vs FM showdown next week. pretty much expecting the Tyrells to get slaughtered. Lannisters live another day to off another rival House...

unconfirmed i think, but they're basically saying he's the GOAT of this stuff, so i imagine ~anything will be possible once he levels up

Strictly speaking, Bran's actions seem to function according to Novikov's self-consistency principle of time travel: it is impossible to outright change events in the past which have already happened, but it is possible to set up stable time loops. Bran didn't change history when he accidentally gave Wylis a seizure and turned him into Hodor - that always happened, had already happened, and Bran in the present was just fulfilling that stable time loop. More bluntly, Bran Stark's actions follow Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure time travel rules (stable time loops are possible), but not Back to the Future time travel rules (in which outright changing the timeline is possible).

Cold weather follows the strong White Walkers. Think back to the scene where Sam kills one, it starts with hardly any snowfall/wind and becomes a blizzard once the walker is in view. Similar stuff happens in the attack on Hardhome, the "Four horsemen" leader WWs are obscured by a strong blizzard on the top of the cliff.

I think it had to be done that way. If not, why were Bran and Blackraven in that point in history in the first place? The Night's King & company are bearing down on them and they decide to go back in time for ****s and giggles? Nah.

What I don't understand about the Iron Islanders isn't them constantly raiding the mainland, I get that, it's why go back? The place is a ****hole; it looks like it's constantly around 38 degrees and is just a bunch of algae-covered rocks that look like they smell like everything in the ocean's rotting *******. No wonder it seems like only 80 people live there. Then they have this big stone towers for the king and they hire some guy who builds kids' treehouses to build rickety bridges in between them, those work great in the constant storms. The Iron Islands are losing me, place looks like NO FUN.

the thing about feudalism is you don't see "land for sale" signs around Westeros. there is nowhere to go unless you conquer it and then hold it and that's hard to do (they recently lost one of the places they did raid), and similar circumstances led to Theon being raised at Winterfell (basically as a hostage)

whoever you try to conquer is going to be protected by people used to fighting on land

Was it significant that he died while they were back in time to transfer more power out of the tree guy to himself.

Lolno bro it was broad daylight unless literally zero people were on harbor patrol that day it's just silly regardless of how much time had passed and pretty much no time had passed because he flat out admitted to murdering the former king. How long is he gonna leave Former King's Offspring alive? Certainly not long enough to prepare a few baker's dozen ships to set sail never to return. It's a Kool Aid Man sized plot hole.
