Theory: they made stannis ambiguous because in the books it was a cliffhanger like Jon.
Grrm doesn't mind some stuff of future books being spoiled, but I doubt he would want those to be exposed in the show first

This theory makes a ton of sense and is probably the answer for why it was left ambiguous in the show.

keeping expectations low with TD2 and hoping to be pleasantly surprised seems like the right play

same deal with Ballers, but i'm already kinda disappointed that it'll only have 30-minute eps
Football Entourage should be fun though

and the show following it, The Brink, sounds promising
political comedy show starring Tim Robbins, Jack Black, Aasif Mandvi, etc

I'm watching Deadwood for the 5th or 6th time and still love it. The dialogue and character interaction are historically elite. I maintain it is better than The Sopranos. Potential top 5 show of all time.
