So as I near the end of Hannibal S2, it seems like:

Spoiler:
Will is now a serial killer for no apparent reason, and he, not Dolarhyde, killed Freddie Lounds. What the actual **** are they doing here? The even brought in Verger which is so goddamn cruel because it gave me hope they'd fine a way to right the ship. Nope, send that ****er straight into the reef

Actual dialogue from S2E11:

Spoiler:

Dr. Bloom: Will, did you kill Freddie Lounds?
Will: What do you think?
Dr. Bloom: I think that's the wrong thing to say to someone that's already having doubts.
Will: I said Hannibal was a killer and no on believed me, just like no one will believe you.
Dr. Bloom: I don't think Hannibal is good for you.

WHAT...THE...****

How do you guys defend this ****? Is this just going to turn out to be an elaborate dream sequence in the finale? Who is writing this ****?
"Did you kill this person"
"Yup"
"I think you should find a new therapist lulz"

Just awful

Finally got around to watching Go(A)T finale, seems like I disagree with the majority wrt Arya

At first I didn't like her because "I'm a princess but want to be a fighter instead" has been done so often, oh youre such a rebel gtfo. She put herself in dangerous situations but hadn't it been for the Hound she would have been f***ed so many times

But her development and especially that hound scene and how scummy it was makes me like her character, can't wait for her to go to Bravos and become a true killer

Fargo finale was good, entire show was good. Fun experience.

Major(?) Fargo spoiler, only read if you watched the finale:
Spoiler:
Kind of reminded me of one of my first writing exercises. "Write a character arch from coward to hero (the character should be a family man/woman)"

@Richard Tanner: Grind through the rest of the season of Hannibal. Let's wait with the discussion until you're through.

Hound caught feelings for Arya, thought she would help him. He forgot his own #1 rule. She didn't.

I don't think he's dead, though. Littlefinger and Co. are headed out to explore the Eyrie, and they have the one person who will vouch for the Hound.

only skimmed the comments post finale, but im really shocked at the hate. i thought it was great, did a good job advancing all the storylines except danys (and the only part i really care about there is what'll happen to jorah and we didn't see any of that).

the stuff up at the wall went from one of my least fav storylines to one of my favorites with the addition of stannis.

arya to braaaavvooos is legit. bravos ftw

hound/brienne stuff was stupid, stupid that they just randomly show hound/arya outside the city gates chilling 10mi away with no other explanation, wtf? all it would've taken was a quick scene where they decide "**** it, let's not go in, not gonna get any money, lets just cruise around killing ppl" also i predict hound lives. no idea how but we didn't actually get to see a death scene for him which was silly.

prob not a big fan of the children stuff but i could see it being legit i guess, who knows.

If you think the hound is alive, you're not good at watching TV.

How would they show the hound kicking the bucket exactly. If they want the scene with Arya letting him die a slow death, how do you also show him dieing? A quick 5 second scene after she is on the boat. It would have felt really awkward and out of place, but i don't see how else to show it

i mean he was still screaming like a mad man, i guess he could have been like 30% more withered

If they wanted him dead they would have just had Arya put him out of his misery since that would have made infinitely more sense anyway

In the middle of no where, what, 6 km from the nearest person once Arya/Brienne leave with mortal wounds. In his own words when Arya asks him if he's dying "Unless you see a Grand Maester around."

You are all nits and I hope GRRM trolls the **** out of the ending because, despite all evidence, people doubt his ability to have a storyline pay off and can't deal with an ounce of ambiguity in one of the least ambiguous good shows ever made. Oh, we killed Joffrey? Let's clear that up in the first ten minutes of the next episode. Any other show plays that storyline out for at least half a season.

Hound obviously dead. Arya completing heel turn, abandoning the Stark code and embracing good is dumb (a la Dark Helmet). Ending him would have been merciful and she's past mercy. Hound is the ultimate realist; a miracle ending here would betray everything about the character and the world GRRM has created. Showing a dead Hound would be witless and detract from Arya's arc into, as it appears to me, the anti-Stark.

I also have no problem with the Dany scenes. It's okay to let a character/storyline breathe. This was the same character that was (clumsily) rushed from rape bait to Khaleesi in like seven episodes. I dont mind a build-up to the next payoff here, even if the slave **** is hamfisted. It's going to be fine. This isn't Homeland; there's no reason to think this is going to get ****ed up.

It's not about 'if someone doesn't die on screen they're not dead.' The reason The Hound is obv dead (or else it's terrible storytelling) is because of the context. If you paid attention to that scene at all, the whole ****ing point was that Arya was leaving him there to die in misery and chose not to kill him honorably or whatever. You can't do that scene and then just randomly come back to him 5 minutes later and show him in the same place actually dead.

champ is clearly right here. The whole scene is rendered pointless if the Hound somehow survives being left alone in a deserted wilderness with fatal injuries.

Personally didn't like the scene, as I felt Arya and the hound had clearly bonded, albeit reluctantly. She'd even seen him mercifully kill the latest dying stranger they stumbled across. It would have made a lot more sense to me if Arya had taken his gold and put her sword through his heart, not only out of mercy but also because he was on THE LIST.

She's been in a bunch of stuff but most notably she was in the Clueless Series and in Road Trip (she was the GF who went to Austin).

Rachel Blanchard.

It wouldn't change anything for Arya though because the point is that she's now the type of person who will leave someone she hates to die a miserable death.

Whether he does or not doesn't really matter from a character building perspective.

Hasn't she killed two? The guy in the "****ing chickens" scene that used her sword to kill that one kid, and then the guy that came after the hound's bounty that she asked his name so she could officially put him on the list and then promptly kill.
