Their leader got captured by Stannis who assjamed at the best time. WEAK LEADER WEAK ARMY.

Stannis GOAT

Bet his army was uber quick and eager to burn all the dead.

How you gonna put Dority v. Captain and not Swearengen v. Bullock on this list?

Also Tony v. Bobby >>> Tony v. Ralphie imo

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I don't want all the kings landing intrigue to be for naught because they're overwhelmed by the seemingly unstoppable forces of the white walkers/dragons/bran and the children. Right now it's tough for me to see how a balance is going to be struck between the fantasy elements and the "real", but hopefully that balance is found. Still my fav show.

I am very interested to see how the Stannis/free people storyline pans out. They may bow to no king in the north, but let's see if they bend the knee given their other two options are death by Stannis and death by white walkers.

Also have no ****ing clue where they are going with the frankenmountain story line.

And was a bit miffed that Arya and the hound just turned around at the bloody gate.

Yeah, how does that happen? Once you announce to the guards that you have Arya Stark with you, I'd imagine they wouldn't let you just waltz away.

I know the fact that Sansa is there is a secret, so ok the guards don't know that, but at the very least we could have a scene where the guards tell LF Arya stark is here, and he orders them to send her away so as to not mess up his thing with Sansa. But just an "lady arryn is dead? oh well, peace out bitches" seemed weird.

Yea they botched Arya/Hound pretty hard these last few episodes
SETV >>>> OOTV: WOAT >>>> GOT Quote

scene might have played better if Hound & Arya didn't say who they were, just that they wanted to speak to Lady Arryn, the guards inform them that she's dead, and then they could do the whole "WELP, see ya later then" thing

still a little weird they wouldn't advance to:

well who's in charge there now?
are they related to me?
can they help protect me / pay him?
etc

but maybe a little better

and i'm fine with the resolution ultimately with her going to Braavos, so whatevs

DAN DORITY so elite. GoT would be much better with him in it. Imagine AL plotting against people. Would be so sick.

made me MAD. the hound quite literally was trying his best to protect her. it was a turbulent relationship but jesus Arya.

Arya lost basically all my goodwill. I don't like her anymore.

Arya was probably tired of being everyone's captive and bargaining chip. She took control of her destiny. Good for her. Haters to the left, that bitch is on fire.

Just like Brienne of ****ing Tarth owning the Hound who was pretty bad ass. I loved that fight. Shows that Brienne is one of the best fighters in the kingdoms and makes awesome fight sounds.

AAAAAAAHH

Hated all the Bran storyline until this episode which had me very much interested

Dany lol, everything else great

Arya is just the best.

Not sure Varys had a plan, seemed more of a 'well ****, something bad is happening, so i'm just going to gtfo'

If anyone wants to know some of the small context stuff that the show left out shoot me a pm. It won't be a spoiler I promise but I'd rather be safe than sorry and not post it itt even with spoiler tags.

There's a chance the show goes over some of this next season though.

Arya looking the hound in the eye while stabbing him in the heart would have been a great scene too. It could have nicely conveyed the mixed emotions I thought Arya felt for the hound.

Her walking away leaving him to die doesn't seem to fit with what I understood of her character. I thought (a) she wanted to revenge kill the hound, (b) she still had some sense of honor from her father, and (c) a part of her liked the hound and sympathized with him.

Leaving him to die a slow death after robbing him is just cold blooded and something only a terrible person would do.

agree. arya quickly turned to my hate list.

I don't know why ppl think varys has a plan. Unless I'm missing something he had no idea Tyrion killed tywin til he heard the bells toll and realized there was no way he could stay in KL anymore

yeah pretty obvious

*hears the bells*, turns to Tyrion and says "what did you do?" or whatever, gets on the boat

Varys: "i've always hates the bells. they ring for horror. a dead kind, a city under siege"
Tyrion: "a wedding."
Varys: "exactly."

the cut from varys turning around to him sitting next to the crate with a pouty face made me lol

yeah i don't think varys planned to leave either.

odds on mountain, tywin, hound being alive at start of season 4?

arya also goes into my ****list. she's been a great character and among my faves but i think this episode was a very clear heel turn. at the end of the day hound is the reason why she's still alive and she's leaving him to die a slow, terrible death for basically no reason. that's basically as low as you can get. hopefully salladhor and his boyz pirate it up and run the train on her or something.

I know I missed the giant and Jon Snow's mates being dead last week, but even I didn't think that Braavosi captain was Salladhor the pirate.

As long as you both knew that Shae testified against Tyrion, I think we can find common ground
