rick and morty is the best new animated show i've seen since bob's burgers. really ****ing good and i was never as high on community as a lot of people. for some reason all the movie parody stuff seems a lot more organic to me on an animated show. the simpsons probably inured me to it.

Can someone other than Chilltown verify the epicness of Hannibal?

I watched ep 1 of Rick and Morty and was not impressed. Should I persist? In general I don't like that kind of Adult Swim stuff at all. I similarly quit Bob's Burgers after one ep. I like Archer a ton though. Other non-mainstream animated shows I have watched and enjoyed include Invader Zim (I love that show actually, that avatar is there for a reason) and Dr Katz.

I can. It's very well done and despite being quite graphic/disgusting(?) it's actually very artsy. I just love the overall tone and the cast. Even if the plot would suck it would still be a solid show imo but alas the plot is pretty good as well so far.
I think season 1 was a bit overpaced...they could have stretched that out more but season 2 is pretty much perfect so far.

Strongly approve, I enjoy season 2 more than True Detective.
GO(A)T will be my #1 once it starts again though

Re: Walking Dead...I gave up on it. It was pretty good until the end of S2(?) with the barn reveal and then ok when they first found the prison...downhill/much the same ever since. Some of the acting is cringeworthy and I tihnk the governor wasn't done all that well (read some of the comic books, def prefer them by a wide margin)

Was reading that Hannibal might get cancelled? Hesitant to invest into it if that's the case. Don't have the stomach to get Deadwooded again.
