Not the usual TV we talk about in here but there's an old school 2+2er who is completely destroying Jeopardy at the moment. He's won 12 episodes in a row now, has the second highest cash winnings ever in regular play and now has the top 5 all time best single day scores in a show with 7000+ episodes.

On my rewatch, I'm in season 2. It is funny to hear a lot of the characters throw blind loyalty around, like when Theon tells Robb he'll convince his father to join his side and is all nonchalant about it being no big deal, but then that obviously turning the complete other way.

Catelyn saying she's known Walder Frey since she was a child and that he'd never hurt her was probably the cherry though.

The major thing to notice is there was just so much more foreshadowing, prep work, and plot culmination with far fewer plot holes. The action scenes very good in both early and late season, the reason for those action scenes however on a different level.

Still will watch tomorrow. Will almost for sure be disappointed. But who knows!

Edit: Also, everyone is convinced Arya is a boy for basically every episode for a string of 10 in a row or whatever until Gendry is like LUL you're a girl SHOW ME YOUR PENIS haha jk.

And I know why that was a thing, she had to convince people she wasn't Arya and everything, but she so clearly looks like a girl she just was sorely miscast I guess.

After hearing all the hype about the final season my dad started watching it yesterday from S1 E01. I asked him what he thought so far and the first words out of his mouth were "That boy who thinks he's king is a *****".


Made me miss the early seasons even more.

that was fairly tedious. we didn't need to see interactions between every combination of major characters, just develop the plot and move on. and for all that talking, the one convo they choose not to show is bran explaining his story to tyrion, which is the one that i actually would have liked to hear.

IF, and i do mean IF, this season was 10 episodes, id be ok with another reunion episode. But its not, so whats the point? Arya had sex with gendry? Cool. I like a lot of the charcters they focused on (brienne and jaime) so sure, fine, but this was like a 100,000$ episode. Wheres the budget?

Thought it was great. Maybe the best episode of the entire series. The fighting is always a letdown. Let’s enjoy the banter with the characters we have all grown to love and hate over the last 10 years or whatever before most/all die.
