Another great episode. Great dialogue about banging in the can and not gaf about aids.

Started watching 3% yesterday. Seems pretty good but the English voiceover is throwing me off a bit.

My sarcasm didn't properly convey. The show is awful and great at the same time. The dialogue esp. I mean, "that's the difference between generations. We would have kept ass****ing despite aids while you pussys gave it up"

I think last sillicon valley episode was outstanding

I think the show is best approached like a Ray Donavan or a shameless where you don’t take it too seriously and suspend disbelief of all the ridiculous crap that’s being done and said

Problem is that the show takes itself very seriously and every god damn scene is two actors trying to have an Emmy award winning conversation

So I was pretty torn on 3%. And was nearly OUT on the throwaway ep that they wasted on the main dudes past. But the last ep was super lit.

I’ve got Michele and Joana as HOT. Michele especially

Wife and I just finished this. Enjoyed it. Though I have no idea what to believe. Season 2 should be good

Also people who do voiceovers instead of subtitles perplex me

I was prior to world cup '14. Live in a portuguese area (though it's a bit different than zilian guese). I can do basic transactional stuff but get lost in convos. Just takes some discipline imo.

Watched a couple NBC shows this month so thought I'd give a little breakdown.

The Good Place: Average

Started off strong but has come down to Earth. One of the main characters is over the top dumb and the jokes around him are about how dumb he is which isn't the best form of comedy imo. It feels like the writers don't have an idea of where the plot is going which doesn't help things. There are some solid laughs throughout but I think this one is going off the cliff very soon.

Superstore: Elite

I've only heard one person mention this show which is crazy considering how good it is. All of the characters are hilarious in their own way. The star imo is a side character named Bo. He reminds me of like a white trash version of Jean Ralphio. Only shows up every few episodes but kills it every time. Having worked retail the entire show is way too relatable from the crappy customers to the bs training videos the company shows for every problem that arises. They do seem to be forcing a love connection between two of the main characters which has ruined many a show before. Hoping they avoid that and stick to the comedy.

I enjoyed the 4th season of AD and was glad they made it, but it still wasn't as good as the first 3. Not really holding out major hope for #5
