It is certainly a weird adult cartoon that gets rave reviews. Wouldn't say it is just for weird people though, it is really good.

I feel like I've really given this show a chance. I've watched like 6 full episodes of S1. It has its moments, but it's just a normal, well-written adult swim show. I don't find anything special about it. Maybe it improves like Parks & Rec did?

for a first ep setting the overall tone for a show and somehow weaving all the different character's storylines together, i thought the deuce s1e1 did a pretty good job.
it didn't punch you in the face with a ham-handed fist but it made me want to watch more.

Ripped off another couple episodes this morning, definitely picking up steam and not dragging at all. Would recommend, the dick part is really only a tiny part of the joke at this point

Have to rewatch Making a Murderer but 2 episodes the dick show seems like an excellent ironic take on recent documentaries. There's something to it...can't say what.
