New veep off to a strong start. Wasn't sure how they could continue to make political satire in the trump era but they got me to pause twice because I was laughing too hard and wanted to hear the next line. Minority house leader to a congressman recovering from cancer "I don't know if you can hear me over the sound of your balls metastasizing but Americans don't care what poor kids eat".

Could be much better if they addressed the trump issue but i'll take what they're offering.

Expanse: Season 2 is enjoyable, at least if you're into the books.

Also, the pilot for Oasis on Amazon is another good sci-fi option.

LOL, this is exactly how I feel about it. If I had never watched it and someone described the plot to me I'd insta-pass, but it sure seems to me like it's pretty damn great. It also seems to simply "look" the best of anything on TV and has the best music by far.

I'm liking this Fargo the best maybe out of all of them so far, even though sometimes I think Ewan Macgregor isn't even doing an American accent. The actress playing Gloria on Fargo is playing Nora on The Leftovers and they are both experiencing odd occurrences of electronic devices (such as motion detectors or airport check-in kiosks) not acknowledging the characters. So, if you are one who occasionally watches these shows back to back after enjoying an after dinner herb, just keep that in mind. The shows are separate and aren't going to meld together here soon.

Just finished two foreign language series on Netflix and both were great. The first is an Israeli show Fauda and is probably slightly better of the two. Probably 8 or 9 out of 10 for me. Great characters and a plot that I thought was going to be predictable but wasn't.

Second is Nobel out of Norway. Enjoyed the parallels between life in Norway and the war in Afghanistan and how the two and intertwine in a "neutral" country. Show was real good and thought the main actor who played Erling was great. Anyone seen either?

I choose to believe that the ending to San Junipero is in the style of The Prestige, albeit with a less violent ending for the original copy. I just refuse to concede that the Black Mirror universe allows happy endings.
