Honestly, if I don't count MTV replayed concerts on Palladia, I've probably watched less than 1 hour of MTV the past 4 years.

This was the Video Music Awards, not the MTV Movie Awards.

The point still stands though.

I keep reading, "Patrick Swayze, Star of Ghost and Dirty Dancing, dies." Eff that, he's Patrick Swayze, star of Point Break and Road House.

RIP Swayze

"Revenge of the Nerds" is on ACTION TV right now...havnt seen it since I was like 8 years old with my "cool" uncle...who I later relaized was a Nerd. lol

a quick quote:
Quote:
Police Officer: "See that guy over there (points to a handcuffed man in a trenchcoat)....he got arrested for mopery"

Nerd: "whats mopery?"

Police Officer: "exposing yourself to a blind person"
Great movie so far. Typical 80s unintentinional humour.

Was watching ESPN Classic over the weekend and they were showing Nolan Ryan's 7th no-hitter. I'd obviously known that he has 7 no-hitters. But what surprised me was when they showed the dates of his no-hitters. The distribution is amazing. 4 no-hitters in a 3-year period, a random one in the 80s, then 2 in consecutive seasons.

May 15, 1973 (@ Kansas City)
July 15, 1973 (@ Detroit)
Sept. 28, 1974 (vs. Minnesota)
June 1, 1975 (vs. Baltimore)
Sept. 26, 1981 (vs. Los Angeles)
June 11, 1990 (@ Oakland)
May 1, 1991 (vs. Toronto)

Obviously 7 no hitters is a pretty awesome accomplishment. But 4 in 3 years is even better.

how about 2 No Hitters while in his 40's???

I think thats more impressive.

I was at the last game Nolan Ryan pitched. Epic, I know.

I don't know why I keep watching the show Entourage, and I don't know why every week you can post some troll in the OOT Entourage thread about how part of the episode made you cry a little bit and some people buy it.
09-16-2009 , 11:33 PM
SirOsis, I have no idea why I watch it every week, but I do. Maybe I expect it to be good, but it never is. I suspect that the entire shows history has probably been grossly overrated because there is no way it suddenly goes from great to garbage like this show has supposedly gone.
