Gentlemen,
I have returned home, and I had Secret Santa box awaiting me. After the rest of my unpacking, I immediately got to getting myself in the holiday spirit as best I knew how. As it would turn out, this might have been a bit premature, but in the spirit nonetheless.

My secret santa gifts have arrived.
I feel very fortunate to get a 2+2 legend as my santa, who sent me some great gifts from across the pond and even a really nice note to go along with them! (and yes LO I of course voted for Hillary, even though admittedly I did think the Trump campaign was hilarious back when I didn't think it had a chance and it was just a laughingstock with things like "small hands rubio" and "lyin ted").
I received a USB with some original British programmes, and some high-end socks. When I created that troll thread in OOT I was pretty stoned, and never imagined it would lead to this awesome secret santa gift, connecting the two was quite excellent and unexpected!

The first thing I noticed about the box was that it came from my old haunt, ROCHESTER, NEW YORK. The second thing I noticed was that the structural integrity had been compromised.
Upon opening the box, it was was immediately clear my Secret Santa had done some HOMEWORK. Unbeknownst to most, ROCHESTER, NEW YORK is an ELITE CULINARY DESTINATION that possess an airport that has direct flights to EVERYWHERE, or at least 7 different cities. Featured in the post dug up and printed out by my Secret Santa is the finest local original, the GARBAGE PLATE, the exemplar of AMERICAN FUSION CUISINE, combining SALADE DE MACARONI, FRITES MAISON, HAUTE DOG ROUGE, LE HAMBURGER, and HOT SAUCE, which in ROCHESTER, NEW YORK doesn't mean something like Sriracha or Tabasco, but instead is a RAGOUT of ground beef and nobody knows or asks whateverall else. In the fine print of the printed out post was my proclamation that I had only ever eaten this DELICACY sober. The hand written note from my Secret Santa was that this should be remedied.
So what have we here?

BEER! HOT SAUCE! BBQ SAUCE, including the BEST BBQ SAUCE IN THE WORLD 1!
We did have one casualty, likely the reason for the loss of structural integrity, but a five pack is still quite generous. Well done, Secret Santa, well done.

Larry, glad you enjoyed your gifts! I guess I misplayed the whole "Secret" element of Secret Santa, but frankly the British music / TV collection would have made little sense coming from anyone else
