Weird seeing so many stops in Michigan by democrats this late ( Both Clintons and Obama will be here tomorrow) pretty sure they are just playing defense because no way Trump wins without it but man, still strange and unlike any other election in recent history

Drumpf rushed off stage shouldn't be nearly as big a story as 'republican protester gets the **** kicked out of him at Drumpf rally for holding an anti-Drumpf sign, Drumpfers lie and yell out gun (which he doesn't have) and secret service arrests him'

Granted the headline doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, but glad to see the Drumpfers are following the great leader's message of resorting to lies and violence to silence opposition

Lol and now Drumpf campaign is supporting the claim it was an assassination attempt

Such incompetence. If manafort was still in charge, he'd make sure there was a gun.

That is 538 in a nutshell. Just overreacting to all news, then when they get it wrong they just shrug and say "the polls were wrong!" when everybody else is looking at the same polls and coming up with different conclusions

For posterity: as of today 538 has Florida and Nevada going to Trump. Everyone else is either strong on Hillary in these states or has it too close to call.

When/if they get it wrong their excuse will likely not include "I guess our model is effed"

edit: or "I guess all three of our models are effed"

Your model had it at 100 percent to 0 percent. Not sure you are in a spot to make fun of anyone on any modeling. Never seen a worse mistake.

In 1999, the family patriarch died, and 650 people, including many real estate executives and politicians, crowded his funeral at Marble Collegiate Church on Fifth Avenue. But the drama was hardly put to rest. Freddy’s son, Fred III, spoke at the funeral, and that night, his wife went into labor with their son, who developed seizures that led to cerebral palsy. The Trump family promised that it would take care of the medical bills.

Then came the unveiling of Fred Sr.’s will, which Donald had helped draft. It divided the bulk of the inheritance, at least $20 million, among his children and their descendants, “other than my son Fred C. Trump Jr.” Freddy’s children sued, claiming that an earlier version of the will had entitled them to their father’s share of the estate, but that Donald and his siblings had used “undue influence” over their grandfather, who had dementia, to cut them out. A week later, Mr. Trump retaliated by withdrawing the medical benefits critical to his nephew’s infant child.

“I was angry because they sued,” he explained during last week’s interview.
