no chance Trump listens to all these party folks who he just collectively trounced a few months ago. the entire party ganged up on him and to beat him and they couldn't, now he is going to take their advice?

he does seem unhinged though. like 6 months ago he wasn't THIS crazy, was he? it seems his rate of going crazy is quickening

Real life is better than any TV show. I think there's a non-zero (although still extremely small) chance Trump drops out before the election rather than face certain defeat.

I also think you could see never Trump GOP leaders (Jeb!, Romney, others) coalesce behind Johnson. Again, very small but possible.

If nuclear weapons had never been invented, this election would be a lot more fun to watch.

oh I think a good chance all those guys back Johnson. He is easily more palatable than Hillary to them...he's a former R after all, running with another former R. He's certainly way, way closer to a central casting R than Trump or Hillary, both of whom are impossible to back for them. backing Johnson is very understandable given circumstances, but backing Hillary will be a black mark for many of them forever

I think only reason that might not happen is if the math works out that backing Johnson takes away votes from Hillary, and not Trump
