Timmay, Coulter is a master troll. That's her brand.

She may have bitten off too much this time, though. I hope she gets REKT.

I think she's legit that horrible of a person/dumb.

In other news this headline might be the best "Real or Onion?" contender I have ever seen.

The only thing hard to believe about that rumor is that Trump said it out loud. In every stage of the campaign, Trump has been tremendously and obviously lazy, retaining only minimal campaign staff, eschewing any GOTV effort, not making ads, running a ****ty, vapid website, never actually learning anything about anything, and opting not to put any effort into the party platform laying out a vision for how he would government. It seems completely plausible that he wants to be nothing more than a figurehead, with the other likely alternative being that he is functionally incapable of being more than a figurehead.

I think she's definitely a garbage human being. We have no disagreement there. But that tweet was, from her marketing perspective, an elite eyeballs play. It was also a bad "be taken seriously ever again (if you even were anymore)" play.

The worst.
In the 1920s, Indiana had a governor, Edward L. Jackson, that was an open Klansman.

He supported Prohibition and appointed fellow Klansmen to state offices, including replacing a Senator who had died in office.

When he refused to pardon Klansman and all around awful person D.C. Stephenson for kidnapping, rape, and murder, Stephenson exposed the records he kept showing Jackson had been taking and offering bribes during his time as Governor. He was tried for his crimes, although he couldn't be convicted due to the statute of limitations, and left office quietly in disgrace.

Point being, I consider him to be my state's second worse Governor. Mike Pence is an unmitigated disaster and a truly terrible human being.

Maybe if like 10% of the people who hate Hillary and Trump did something besides convince themselves they have to vote Hillary because they are good intellectual people and voted for someone they'd want to be president instead he'd have a shot.

"She is corrupt, he is an idiot buffoon" would just crush a 3 person debate

Think about this: coulter makes millions a year from idiots who are thinking right now "man she really showed that towel head who's boss".

That's what we're up against. Don't ever forget it.

I mean, Wallace set a standard for racist governors at least in action, if not also in character.

The silver lining about Jackson getting got was that D.C. Stephenson was so bitter at Jackson for not pardoning him, he not only outed Jackson as being corrupt, but damn near half the state legislature at the time as well as the Mayor of Indianapolis. Stephenson a Klansman, in a historical irony, was almost singularly responsible for cleaning out the Klan from political power, and drastically reducing its membership in the Midwest.

Thay would make a great character in a posthumous Iain M. Banks space opera, in which point of view character Thayer boards the GSV Sleeper Service and is returned from his post-scarcity post-liberal post-political utopia to a position of imperfect reality in a world of material scarcity and less than utopian politics.

Each of his chapters would sound just like his posting.

He'd die of a laser blast about 2/3s through.

Yeah, this. 3rd parties need to put their stamp on an election cycle LONG before voting day. There needs to be a legitimate movement. There needs to be people convinced to vote in a bloc for a candidate. Kind of like Perot or Nader, but with even greater levels of support.

Sandra Bland case! One of the cops is alleging a coverup (not the one fired for perjury for his generous arrest report nor the jailer who admitted to doctoring the monitoring log--no, totally different guy named Kelley). This cop may have a slight credibility issue, however;

Quote:
Kelley, meanwhile, is suspended from the police department after being captured on video using a Taser on a black city councilman in Prairie View and being indicted for official oppression related to an unlawful arrest. He claims prosecutors sought that indictment as retaliation.
OK, Mr. Kelley, I'll give you that retaliatory indictment for "oppression". But that still leaves you with tasering a black city councilman? Am I following this correctly? As far as I can tell, yes.
