To me it's disturbing the amount of people who are supporting Trump based on "what they think he actually wants" and that the things he actually is campaigning on are just to trick dumb rubes into voting for him.

TRUMP's campaign is not similar to any other campaign in history and should not be evaluated in the same way as traditional campaigns. The people who were treating his campaign like other campaigns are the same ones that didn't think he could win and thought other candidates should attack him or respond to him in the same manner as they would a traditional candidate.

I kinda think he really believes he's that smart.

What's remarkable to me is that he came out with the "Trump is using persuasive speech techniques to appeal to people and let them project what they want from him onto him" thing, and yet he seems to be completely seduced by those techniques into believing Trump is fit to be president.

He picked a man as his running mate with one of the most extreme anti-gay, anti-abortion records in the last two years. This isn't stuff from a decade ago. It was yesterday. He's also a creationist, doesn't think humans contribute to climate change and publicly argued cigarettes use doesn't cause increased chances of death.

THIS is the first and one of the most important of the "very best people" Trump has surrounded himself with. Thinking he will appoint a pro-abortion Justice is a fantasy.

yeah it was hilarious, he said women should be punished for killing babies and then all the GOP people piled on him, because he took their position that they actually think abortion is murder seriously, and they showed they don't even actually believe that

at every step he just says what he interprets people want to hear, and sometimes he misinterprets it

I have a theory cooking that trolling is actually a once-dormant human virus that is now rampaging influenza-like through America, leading directly to the behaviors of 99% of the people defending or voting for Donald Trump. I conclude that our very own Larry Legend persevered through the darkness and only recently woke from his zombie-like troll slumber, that our very own Wooders0n was a victim long before he ever found 2+2 and has yet to locate a cure, and that our very own Shark Sandwich's rapid decline strongly suggests that he will soon be not deceased, but, rather, a permanent OOT contributor.

It's horrible.
