WITNESS: John Grant convulsed two dozen times as midazolam was administered. Then vomitted. Then convulsed more. He was then declared unconscious. Then the second round of drugs were administered and he was declared dead at 4:21pm.

His last words were a string of profanities.

He continued to breathe until after the second drug started to flow.

Witness says he has watched 14 executions... and has never seen an inmate vomit. He says the body convulsions were similar to Clayton Lockett's execution.

So Virginia is about to elect a republican Governor after being a solid blue state in a while and being Biden+10.

VA has been on a decent roll recently, going from the 49th easiest state to vote to 12th, capping insulin costs, eliminating the death penalty and stuff like that.

Shouldve been a slam dunk, but as always, people are morons and the key issue here is the the Dem candidate said "parents shouldn't control what teachers teach" and the republican jumped on it "because CRT and transgender bathrooms" We're so ****ed.

There's no need for a Kingmaker when the guy running is a previously decently-popular former governor (VA disallows consecutive terms) and the current governor is also popular.

This should've been a walk if not for one of the all-time worst botches in a HS rape case and simultaneously the Dem's response to a soft ball question about schools
